Under GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, and delete your data, and to file a complaint with the appropriate data protection authority.
For the optional resident verification we check your NIE number only once and purely by calculation, to validate its format. The NIE is processed only transiently in memory and is deleted completely immediately after the check — it is never stored, logged, or shared with third parties. Only the information that your account is verified as a resident is stored permanently. The legal basis is our legitimate interest and contract performance to determine discount eligibility (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).
